About Me
I’m a mechanical engineer who spent the last 15+ years learning and diving into projects as an antidote to a repetitive day job. More and more I started hearing that some of the projects I was designing for myself were worth sharing more broadly. Futility Designs is where the best of those projects end up, here I present my most thoughtful, playful projects that mix fun with real world problem solving. Every one of them starts the same way: a problem or a curiosity I can't leave alone until it's solved.
Why Futility?
Every project starts with a spark of curiosity and a good dose of doubt. The name Futility comes from that gap, the stretch where progress feels slow and the outcome is unclear. Not every idea gets finished, but every attempt teaches me something I use on the next one. Futility Designs is a nod to that process, and a reminder that good ideas are worth the persistence.
